I know that photos of sunsets are quite cliche', but I was hoping to be able to capture the dynamics of the clouds as well as the texture of the field. I was hoping to be able to make somewhat of a statement with this about Cache Valley and why the Aggies live here.

So, you have inspired me. In October, rather than just capturing my picture of the day, I'm going to try to take better pictures. And, I'm still going to only do them in Black and White, so the pictures will have to be even better!
So, were you happy with the picture? You said "I was hoping..." so I didn't know. But, I do think it looks quite beautiful!
I am glad I was able to inspire you Nic. I shoot all my pictures in black and white and I revert them to color only when I think the colors make the picture. I discovered how much I like my black and white pics when I take them next to an open window during the day. It gives it great lighting.
And Jo, I am not very impressed with this photo. I don't think it is bad by any means. But I think I could have done better.
